Hi Zippy2017, First of all, I'm not quite sure if you are a male or female, so I will give you some general advice, regardless of your sex. It's very simple. If a person wants to be with you, they will do anything possible to make it happen. It seems like your friend is always with you, which is good. It shows he wants to be close to you, either as a friend or romantic partner. Since you have not kissed or hugged, it seems like you did not get into the romance zone yet. I think your friend gets uncomfortable talking about other people in his past, because he isn't comfortable himself with who he is. He says he's gay, but I think he's still working that out in his head. Give him time. He also is probably afraid of upsetting you with stories of old lovers. The past is gone and what he did when you were not with him, does not matter. What matters is NOW. Be his friend and let him open up to you. Don't talk about other people. Talking about them just makes your relationship too crowded. Be a friend, be supportive and one day, when you are comfortable, ask him what kind of relationship you two are in. If he says "Just friends", then let it go. Be his friend. If he thinks you are more than friends, then talk about it. Jealousy is a waste of time. It means the person is insecure and they don't know where they stand. That's where you are. I totally understand. Clarify things and it will get better. Hope this helps! Blessings :)
